The primary objective of this site is to impart an up-to-date factual and unbiased panorama of the state of Indian politics, economics, industry and Government policies, as it stands today and as it is expected to unfold in the future. Predictions and trends are all based on information gathered from credible and authoritative sources, as well as from in-house research.

Headquartered out of New Delhi - the Capital of India and the power centre - www.indiabiznews.com is a reflection of the work put together by a dynamic news and research team working at Indiabiz News & Research Services (INRS). A team of senior journalists and researchers, it is expected that the contents of this site and its layout would prove to be beneficial to policy makers, corporate executives, businessmen and traders who would like to keep themselves well informed, so as to enhance their decision making effectiveness.

The team is led by its editor, Sharif D Rangnekar, a journalist with over 13 years of experience in print, net, television media having worked with The Economic Times, among other publications. He is also the editor of a current affairs best-selling book, Realizing Brand India - The Changing Face of Contemporary India.

INRS has been providing content to varied customers including India Today's newspapertoday.com. We also completed a prestigious assignment for the Australian government on the impact of economic reforms on the Indian economy. The National Council for Applied Economic Research (NCAER) was a partner in this project. We were also content managers for USIBC Indian chemical industry report released at the India Chemical Summit 2000 organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The research document was co-branded with the USIBC.

We also put together India's first ICE (information, communication and entertainment) index of Indian states. This index was widely covered by the media and often referred to in different circles.
